Compare Liquor License Escrow Fees

We maintain relationships with several escrow companies throghout the state that specialize in liquor license transfers.

The escrow companies that we work with charge standard fees for liquor license transactions which generally run about $900. Note that when a business is being sold along with the liquor license, then the escrow company will charge an escrow fee based on the value of the business that is being puchased.

Also, an escrow company will itemize charges for services, including:

• county recording fees
• overnight delivery charges, such as FedEx (expedites your transaction and confirms delivery)
• miscellaneous escrow charges

Before opening an escrow, ask the escrow officer what they charge for opening a liquor license escrow and what itemized fees are charged beyond their basic fee. When your escrow closes, carefully review your escrow closing statement for errors.
